I am a UK based, award winning, photographer with a love for photography and aviation. I have photographed aircraft for over 30 years having started with civil airliners in 1980 before moving onto to military after I joined the RAF in 1986 to work in Air Traffic Control.

Photographically, I started off with a Canon EOS 1000FN, then moved up to an EOS 3 before I became an relatively early adopter of digital in 2005 when I acquired the 6MP 300D. 7 years and a 5D, 7D and 1D MKIII later I'm today using a 1D MKIV & a 1DX. I owned many lenses including all the big primes as well as a range of wider/mid range glass. For my aviation work, the 70-200 LISUSM f/2.8, 400mm LISUSM f/2.8 and 800mm LISUSM f/5.6 are the lenses of choice.

Unless commissioned to do otherwise all of my images are taken as RAW then processed through Lightroom, finished in Photoshop with plug-ins such as Nik software assisting the process. I print a lot of my own work but still use printing houses who offer a wide variety of printing solutions.
